Bull Shoals Lake is known for its lunker bass fishing.  Scrappy largemouth, spotted and white bass are abundant along with crappie, channel cats, bream and walleye.  People come to Bull shoals year around as there is no closed fishing season.  Soon to open is the new fish nursery.  Keep watching for more details.
